Polls are open across London. Ballots use the new 2026 ward boundaries.
Am I eligible to vote?
You can vote in City of London if, on voting day, you are:
- A Canadian citizen
- At least 18 years old on voting day
- A resident of the City of London — or an owner or tenant of land in London, or the spouse of an owner or tenant
- Not otherwise prohibited from voting under the law
Get on the voters’ list
- 1Check, update, or add yourself to the Voters' List online at RegisterToVoteON.ca (open until August 12, 2026).
- 2After August 12, update your details directly with the City of London Elections Office.
- 3You can also be added to the list at your voting location on voting day — just bring acceptable ID.
What to bring & where to vote
Bring one document that shows your name and your qualifying London address (for example, a driver's licence or a utility/bank statement). The City publishes the full list of acceptable documents on london.ca.
Your voting location and advance-poll dates are set by the City and mailed to registered voters — you can also find them on london.ca closer to the election.

London’s ward boundaries changed for the 2026 election, so your ward may be different than before. Use the City’s official interactive map to confirm you’re voting in Ward 4.
New boundaries are used for voting on Oct 26, 2026 and take effect when the new Council term begins.
